Cards from April Counterfeit Kit - Glorious Garden

I used my April Counterfeit Kit Glorious Garden and the April 2017 Unity Stamp Company {be my bird} to make a few cards. All but one of the card have no sentiments as I will add them when I know what I'm using them for. I like to keep a supply of cards I can just add the sentiment to. I used the Misty to stamp them.

Card #1:

I stamped using gray ink and clear embossed.  I used gelatos to color the flowers and leaves, then cut a stitched die to cut it out.

Card #2:
The bike is stamped and embossed and colored in with colored pencils.

Card #3:
I used the Unity Girl for this card. She is stamped and clear embossed colored with pencil colors.  The Wink of Stella pen was used on her beads and feathers. The embossed piece is from another project.

Card #4:
I stamped the floral bouquet on two of the corners of the pink cardstock. I used glossy accents on a couple of the flowers and the Wink of Stella pen on the lily's. (if you click on the picture you can see the Wink of Stella better)

Card #5:
The butterfly was stamped and embossed after using the smooching technique with plastic wrap.  I wrapped a twine around the top and cut the butterfly into a tag shape.

Card #6:
I stamped the floral bouquet onto white cardstock and used the Stampin' Up markers on a acrylic block with water to color them in. I used the Wink of Stella pen on the white lilies. A little bit of ribbon finishes off the card. I have to remember to use the Wink of Stella more as it gives a really nice shine.

Card #7:
I stamped and colored my bird first then stamped the sentiment for the card. I had to fiddle a little bit to get the sentiment where I wanted it. I only used part of the sentiment for this card.

Good Morning Sunshine

I'm starting with the DCWV Citrus Stack scraps from my June Counterfeit Kit - Mish Mash.

I just layered them behind my photo. I then stamped the coffee cup and cozie to use as embellishments on the layout.

For the guy's layouts I colored a the Tim Holtz Bird Crazy birds to add to their layouts.

I used the glimmer mist for some splatters then added the patter papers.

Thanks for stopping by.

Moments to Remember Easter - layouts

From the March Counterfeit Kit - Waiting for Spring I pulled out some of the Easter Papers for these layouts. I did not have a Page Set number it was just an add on to the original kit.

This if what was in the original paper set:
I'm adding the Easter and St Patrick's Day Project Life cards from the Holiday Edition to this kit along with the March calendar one from Amy Tangerine Stitched paper pad. I've added the Easter and St Patrick's Day paper from the Paper Studio Four Seasons and Everything in between, some already cut embellishments from Silhouette, chipboard Easter eggs and butterflies, a few felt flowers, a couple of different rub on and a green sticker sheet. I have a couple of word stamps hidden below the paper and a couple of distress inks - Mowed lawn, peeled paint, ripe persimmon and rusty hinge.

For my layouts today I added some cardstock, ribbon, alphabet stickers and a journaling stop to the kit for these Easter layouts. I made two 8 1/2 x 11 and 2 12x12 layouts using the Easter paper.

I trimmed, corner rounded and then inked all the edges. Only one of the photo mats has the ribbon tied around it.

I used the clear Recollections alphabet to make the title.

I kept the elements the same for the 12x12 layout.

A few rhinestones next to the journaling spot. I fussy cut the paper as the pattern paper as 8 1/2 x 11. the journaling spot cover up the Easter paper.

To finish using up the rhinestones I did a double strip at the bottom of the photo mat. I also used the brown cardstock to cover up the cutting mistake on the Easter paper. It looks like it is suppose to be as a design element

From this set I made 4 layouts by adding in some pattern paper and cardstock. I haven't used any of the Shamrock paper, the rub ons, project life cards and chip board elements.

Thanks for stopping by.

Waves

From the July Counterfeit Kit Page Set 10 I have 3 double 12x12 Layouts. This is what the page set looks like. I used both sides of the paper to make the layouts and added cardstock and some pattern paper to the kit.

I started with the Beach Buzz paper for the first set of layouts. I pulled in the pink from Jen Hadfield's "Best Of" paper pack. It matches perfectly with the lite pink outlines around the words.   On the left side I made a banner with one of the rub ons and use the flip flop stickers on the oversized polaroid photo mats,

I tore the kraft paper at the bottom of the page as I wanted it to resemble the beach.

I positioned the large photo mat so that I could still see the word "Paradise.

The second set of layouts I used the Beach Blanket paper and did some stamping to add a few accents.  I stamped them on the glossy side of photo paper and used the heat gun to make sure they were dry before I cut them out.

I used the dark blue paper make the banners

A few DIY Enamel Dots to finish off the page.

The last set of layouts used the Kraft paper that was in the original Page Set.

I stamped the waves with blue ink on a transparency then fussy cut them. I love how it adds to the page. The photo mats and journaling spot are inked an a little bit of twine and DIY Enamel Dots finish off the pages.

I added an extra set of 2x2 photo mats onto a single pieces of blue cardstock
I have most of the rub ons and stickers left so I will put them back in my stash to use on other projects.

Thanks for stopping by.

Vacation and Explore New Places

I used my Page Set 9 from my July Summer Fun Counterfeit Kit for this set of layouts. My oldest had a couple of days back east that he was able to take in some sights.

I exchanged the blue and green tags for a couple of the map tags, then layered them with a few green sticker labels for a little bit of journaling on each tag.  I also changed the orange black and white twine to brown twine.
I hand cut the tab behind the photo mats on this page, then uses the corner rounder punch for the edges. I used the Sizzix Life Made Simple die for the Geo Tags with the arrow and heart.  and the tab on the other page.

I used the 2" circle punch to make the scalloped border with some embossed yellow paper.
Thanks for stopping by.
